Surrogacy Conference
Fiona Duffy attended a one day surrogacy conference in London on the 21st March 2015 run by Families Through Surrogacy. There was a very large international attendance, including couples from Ireland.
Varying topics were covered. For example, the psychology of surrogacy, embryo transfer decisions, pre-genetic testing, the associated costs, passports for children born through surrogacy, and emerging surrogacy destinations, such as Nepal, Mexico and Greece, where the laws have recently changed, permitting clinics there to offer surrogacy services to heterosexual foreigner couples.
